We create simple, effective, inexpensive web sites. How much will a web site cost? 1.) The first is the cost of buying the domain name. Network Solutions charges $34.99 per year. However, if you buy the site initially for multiple years, there is noted savings. If you agree to buy the site for two years, it costs $29.99 per year; three years, $24.99; five years, $19.99; and for ten years, $14.99. We will guide you through the process of charging this purchase on your credit card. 2.) The second cost is for the Server, the computer space that makes your web site available to the Internet. We set this up for you. The Server we recommend and have an excellent relationship with costs $15 per month. If you want a report each month of hits and visitors to your site, that feature is an additional $5 a month. You are billed monthly by the Server company. 3.) The third cost is for the design of the site. This all depends on its complexity and how long it takes us to put the site together. We charge $100 an hour. It rarely takes more than a business day to put together a site. The design of logos and special buttons may add to the time spent. Lots depends on whether you have graphics or we have to create them or you have photographs or we have to take them. You sign off on the cost before we begin any work, so you are in control and there should be no surprises. 4.) After the site is on line and meets with your approval, changes cost $50 unless the change requires more than one half hour of work, then it costs $100 per hour. We will tell you what it will cost before the work begins. Call 631-749-2620 or email us to discuss your site. Home |
